Hi, my name is Michael.
I'm a software engineer, artist, and machine learning enthusiast. I currently live in San Francisco, and come from the small, rural town of South Bend, WA.
I moved to the city in 2010 at the age 18 to live/work in an art collective. At 26 I started to code, as part of my interest in the intersection of digital synthesizers and machine learning models. Deciding at 28 to go to college to pursue a degree in Mathematics.
After graduating, I dove into contract work and found I loved the variety. My software has helped manage large-scale tours for artists like The Weeknd and improve cancer diagnostics at UCSF. Mori is my current obsession—an orchestration layer for AI agents, with the goal of making it feel like real-time strategy.
I enjoy spending my free time investigating different modalities of human-computer interaction. Whether it's working on novel audio synthesizers or fine tuning ML models, I'm excited about the potential to extend and expand human possibilities as far as possible.
